Online booking and confirmation
On the website you can book a specific room for dates when it is free. Online bookings can be made for the next day at the earliest; for tonight, please give us a call. Once you send your booking, you receive a booking reference and a summary by email. At that point the booking is awaiting confirmation and the dates are held for you.
The booking is only made once the guesthouse confirms it, and we send the confirmation by email. If the guesthouse does not confirm the booking within the period stated in the email acknowledging it, the booking lapses and the dates are released to other guests. The guesthouse may also decline a booking, in which case we will let you know by email.
The price shown on the website is a guide based on the current price list, including the city tax. We will give you the final price when we confirm your booking.
If an online booking cannot be checked at the moment, you can send us an enquiry with no obligation or call +421 905 526 798. An enquiry does not create a booking until we confirm it.
Once confirmed, the cancellation terms below apply.
Check-in and check-out
Rooms are available from 4 pm, and on your day of departure they must be vacated by 10 am. The reception desk is not staffed all the time, so please arrange your arrival time in advance by calling +421 905 526 798 or by email.
If you need the room for longer, please agree it with us beforehand. Late check-out after 10 am costs an extra €10, and after 1 pm we charge the price of a full night.
Cancellation policy
If you cancel within the last three days before arrival, you pay 50% of the accommodation price.
If you cancel on the day of arrival or do not turn up, you pay the full accommodation price.
Refundable deposit
A refundable deposit of €100 to €300 applies to every stay. If you leave the room in good order with nothing damaged, we return the deposit on your day of departure.
Pets
We are unable to accept dogs or cats, as the guesthouse is not set up for animals.
Smoking
The accommodation is non-smoking, and so is the restaurant and pizzeria on the premises.
Accommodation tax
A local tax of €1.14 per person per night, payable to the town of Rožňava, is added to the accommodation price.
