Betliar gives a faithful picture of how the nobility lived. It is surrounded by a park with a lake, so after touring the interiors it is worth a stroll outside.
Betliar lies north of Rožňava on the road towards Poprad. It is one of the nearest sights from us and the first stop on the route to Vlachovo, Rejdová, Dobšinská Ice Cave and the Slovak Paradise.
