Rejdová lies north of Rožňava, about 24 km from the guesthouse. An old church stands at the heart of the village, and traditional timber houses still line its streets. The folk festival is held on the last Sunday in August.

In winter Rejdová becomes a place for snow lovers, with a ski lift and snowmobile rides.
