About this trip

  • 8 km from the guesthouse
  • South towards Plešivec
  • Cave
  • UNESCO

Gombasecká Cave lies in the Slovak Karst National Park, on the road towards Brzotín and Plešivec. It is one of the Slovak Karst caves on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

There is also a zip line at the cave, so children with energy left after the tour will have something to look forward to. The same road leads on to the Silická ľadnica ice cave, the Silica Plateau and further to Domica Cave.

Tips from Zlatka

  • Combine it with Silická ľadnica or Domica, which lie on the same southbound route.

  • You can swim on this route too: Tornaľa has a natural swimming lake with a pool, about 33 km from the guesthouse.
