Silická ľadnica is on the Silica Plateau in the Slovak Karst National Park. Guests who stayed with us mention it alongside the better-known caves as a place where they really took in the beauty of the region.
The plateau is popular for walking and cycling. The hiking trails of the Plešivec and Silica plateaus are about 10 km from us, and the Silica cycle route about 15 km.
Tips from Zlatka
You pass Gombasecká Cave on the way up to the plateau, so the two make a natural pair.
Ardovská Cave in the same area is not open to the public, so leave it out of your plans.
